[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]I've made this suggestion before....but take a look at the Timberland shoulder bag....all waterproof, tough, leather, doesn't look like a camera bag...double tabbed flap, wide woven strap that easily takes a Domke shoulder pad....two front pockets...stick a Billingham insert in it...I can carry two Ms with lenses mounted, two additional lenses, a Sekonic 508, a ton of film, and a few other odds and ends...the two drawbacks are...it ain't cheap, and leather is heavier than canvas or nylon...but it is TOUGH.... - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of Steve Rowell Sent: Wednesday, September 08, 1999 3:11 PM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: Re: [Leica] camera bag I recently went through the same decision making process and in the end function won out over anonymity. I selected the Domke F-5XB, but I'm only carrying one body and lens. I thought the F-3X looked pretty good though for the amount of equipment you want to carry. I have had one of the original Domke bags since about 1979 or 80 (memory is a little fuzzy) and have been completely satisfied with the quality and utility. Hope this helps. Low price would be great also! Mike
