Frank, The only problem im my opinion, is that the R8 is a much better camera than the R7. (IF and only IF you don't consider reliability of course). The solution was to improve that point (I think/hope it's done). The R7 wasn't a so big seller. A very good camera but not as user friendly. Lucien
