Let it go, Stuart.    If they don't know what they are saying by now, you are 
not going to change them.  

Some people are into negatives, some into transparencies.  Some are a little 
too dense, and some a little too thin. Some are into long lenses others into 
shorter ones.  Whether your choice is the magic of f/1 or the distinction of 
f/22, we all have our  preferences.  These are the  reflections of our 
tastes, our choices, and the good fortune that we have to make those choices. 
 Lets get back to Using Leicas and stop worrying about this other nonsense.
