It's quite a bit faster than the 90/2.8, so there are places where it was a requirement. I'm not sure how I'm going to feel about how close they are in focal length, but I suspect that the speed for the 75 may generally drive the decision. I think that I did use the 90 to narrow in on some stuff inside the castle, but part of the problem is that when I look at my shots, I don't always remember what lens was on. 35 is easy, I only have one lens in that region, and the 135 is pretty easy, but the 75 and 90 aren't *so* easy to tell apart. One great feature of my Nikon N90s is that it memorizes all of the exposure information, including focal length, and I can download it into my pc/palm pilot. Going back and looking at the images and the info has been really helpful. g.
