Hi:

The web page below has a picture of how I store my Leica lens caps while
using the lens.  As they say, "A picture is worth a thousand words".  BTW
the pictures on this page were all taken with Leica.  The lens cap image
with a 90mm summicron R at bout f$ and the rest are probably with the M and
the 50mm summicron and 35mm APO Summicron.
