It was just resting on the cloth snout, so aiming was not that great. The snout was probably three feet to the left of the snout my 105-280 was sticking out. My wife just came down to tell me to look in the back yard to see a great blue heron. We live on a lake, but have not seen any around this lake before. They usually hang out around the tidal marshes of the Ocean. No hope of getting pictures as he flew away when he heard me open the door slightly.
