Iīd agree wholeheartedly to your suggestion about glass lenses - always use
them. Mine have anti-scratch surface (yes, in my experience glass
scratches, too) and anti-reflection coating and are phototropic - and also
of a special thin version (high refractive index?) so quite light. All
glass - made by Hoya. Similar lenses are available here also from
Rodenstock - all glass - but about 50% more expensive than Hoya. I almost
bought Zeiss lenses very cheaply from Estonia, but didnīt - they were
plastic.
