We had a 31 footer for 17 years and I've been waiting for a long time for GM to modernize the drive train of the Suburban so I'd have a decent tow vehicle for a new Airstream....still waiting! BTW, I've done a little investigating since this thing started and I'll concede that the current V8 engine in Land Rovers is light years more advanced than the original Buick engine. Maybe BMW has had some influence on these beauties after all:-) Bud ----- Original Message ----- From: KPETERS To: Leica List Sent: Monday, August 09, 1999 8:32 PM Subject: [Leica] Land Rover/Range Rover picture taken with a IIIf Ok, to get us back on track, here's a pic of our Rover and Rig taken with a IIIf BD with 50mm summicron on E100 Kodak slide film, scanned with the olympus scanner with optional woodgrain interior. Long live the Queen! Sorry to have gotten sidetracked off the Leica topics, perhaps this will bridge the gap! Aesthetic form and function all together. Price, schmice, go get the checkbook and stop whining! !
