My version was I think the thin and it had no contrast and was flare ridden. I
inspected it intensely for etching in the elements but it appeared to be clear.
Having spent a half a grand on a Leica M lens it took me a long time to realize
that I was in trouble and needed to unload it. (a year) The not small current
Elmarit (frog noise) has givin me quality that I could not get previously with
my Nikons and of course the difference between it and the Tele-Elmarit was day
and night. As we go over this monthly it appears I might have gotten a bum lens
but a half dozen people here on the list have had similar luck. But then again
another half dozen love the little &^%$#. So what are you gonna do?
