And while I am no expert at evaluating a lens performance it seems to be excellent with sharpness and resolution, B&W and color. I have had one B&W T-Max 400 shot that I cropped and using only 20% of the negative blew it up to a 11x14 print. The detail in the picture is very fine with almost no grain and very good detail in the shadow areas. I bought mine from Adorama in New York for $399 and comes with a M adaptor and shade and caps. For the price I would say it is worthwhile.
