How many of our fellow list-members have given up darkroom work to move to
scanning/printing? And why?
<<<

The degree of fine-tuning possible with Photoshop is phenomenal: color
balance, density, contrast, mid-point of the tonal range and much more can
be adjusted over the entire image area or in any particular region of the
image; dust and scratches can be fixed once, on the digital file, then ya
SAVE THE FILE!! Every subsequent print from that file is free of that
crap. No problems with the enlarger getting bumped, or a train rolling by
20 yards away (not a problem at this house), or a kid getting mad at her
sister & slamming a door, shaking the whole house. Besides, with two
teen-ish kids and a mostly-absent spouse, keeping a room dark for long is a
questionable proposition.
