The 6.3/18cm Tessar, though, was a common LF lens available in the four standard mounts (standard, sunken, focusing, or with shutter). It did have an A42/S40.5 filter mount. The serial number would indicate a production date of '27 or '28, so I would suspect this to be a converted LF lens. The LF lens cost between $US 46 and $US 54 in 1939.
