Dear Luggers'
I have recently managed after a long wait(!) to purchase an M6HM. Can any
of you fellow M6HM owners let me know what problems or Idiosyncrasies to
look out for as I have 8months left on the passport and would like to nip
any problems in the bud while I still have time.
I'm going to search for a mint condition50/f2 Summicron (black) on Friday,
unless anyone has one for sale? (UK Only please).
Also the red paint on the lens release button is coming off, a common
problem I was told (on certain batches at least), does anyone know where I
can get the exactly the same colour to re-paint it, or do I have to send it
back to Leica?

Finally may I say what a great newsgroup this is, I've never met such a
helpful collective of people before.
