I was tempted! FYI, the offeror was bidding up the price artificially.... for a camera that was maybe a bit rare, it might have been a buy.....regardless of repairs needed.... The auction was shut down by Ebay, due to complaints about this seller... Which brings up the point that a lot of these auctions are artificially bid on by the seller.... with all the free email addresses you can get, it is quite easy to do this..... and not get caught... this guy was an i#$%@, and got caught because he was greedy. caveat emptor.... let the sucker beware!
