Subject: [Leica] M6 as an investment

  I was looking through a couple of catalogs from Stan Tamarkin, a major
(and trustworthy, btw) U.S. Leica dealer. In October 1990 he was selling
the M6 "Black or Silver, USA New" for $2395. Anybody who bought a couple
back then and stashed them away would have been smarter to hoard some great
investment like, say, dollar bills. Today, based on the catalog Stan put
out last month, you can get a new M6 for $1795.
