Had always used a Rolleiflex sometimes a Hasselblad with a 150 but for the past decade an 8 by 10 point and shoot(in effect). My latest recent idea on this discrepancy was that in his desire to have extremely meaty (over developed) negatives 35mm was never going to give him acceptable results. Although the area He cropped out of his Medium format Negs were often no bigger than 24 by 36 and blown up 8 feet by 10 feet. Picky Picky if I'm wrong I'll be glad to be corrected. Somebody probably knew him in the Navy and he had a Leica hidden in his locker. Mark Rabiner David Bently you had in mind perhaps.
