I don't think I'd ever own a Noctilux, although I'm sure it's a
wonderful lens.. just a little on the big side.

Let's not forget that the real advantage of high aperature
lenses is evident in low light situations with SLRs, the reason being
quite obvious. WIth an M it's a bit moot, eh?

I can throw more light on the film with an M just by lowering the shutter
speed a notch, and squeezing off a shot in between heartbeats.
