The earlier non-VC Aristo units, one of which sits in my Omega D2, have a separate circuit that operates a heating device that is located above the fluorescent tube set. If the heater is not on and well warmed up, the intensity and consistency of the cold light are both at risk. Oh, and make sure you turn off the heater when you finish using the enlarger.///Dick Baznik _______ At 07:13 AM 7/1/99 PDT, Paul wrote: >Mark, > >Are you filtering the cold light source in any way(VC head or otherwise)? >When I swith from condenser to cold light, exposure time increases, but not >as substantially as you are describing.
