Although this makes me worry about what I am doing wrong- I use a
Rapidwinder which doesn't have the basket and I still never have a problem!
I just stuff the film into the slot, pull out roughly enough and shove it
into the three prongs with my finger as far as it goes, put the bottom (of
whatever type) on and just check the rewind spool is tightened gently and
make sure it turns when I wind on the first frame.
