I can only think of a very few - eliminate the viewfinder flare problem; increase the hardiness of the "black chrome" finish. Additions to the M6 that would improve its ability to do what it does and does better than virtually any other camera? One: add a spot metering option. What these three changes would do is truly "improve," rather than alter, a the ideal photographic instrument with which to unobtrusively record life with lens in the 21 - 75, or perhaps 90mm, range. Period. -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of A.H.SCHMIDT Sent: Saturday, June 05, 1999 5:58 AM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: Re: [Leica] Re: New M-6 Version - now official Ken Wilcox wrote: I fear that any "improvement" in the M loading system would prevent the use of Leica cassettes...a result that I would NOT approve of. Ken Wilcox Ken, as far as I remember the with the M6, a late model, I owed, one was not able to use leica cassettes anymore. Also the little button on the right hand side (looking from the front), was missing. This button held the flash bracket. I used it to enable me to screw my tripod in to the centre of the Leica.
