Darren,
Another way you may be able to experience 'bokeh' is to compare the footage
of NFL football games during the actual game, which is shot on video
(BetaSP) and the highlight footage shot by NFL Films on 16mm film (now being
shot on Super 16mm). There is no mistaking the difference. And as a footnote
to that, there has been some complaints in the last few years that 16mm
camera lenses are getting so sharp that the footage is starting to look like
video.
