Also a > couple of close up devices . One of these had a close up lens for the 36 mm > front diameter lenses and the other was to fit on to a Summitar. With each > front lens in its box, was a pair of eyes, to fit over the rangefinder - and > view finder window, but it fitted only on to the pre 3C cameras. I have a > model 3, Vintage 1934. where it fits ok. Now a couple of questions: 1. Has anybody on the LUG ever used a 50mm Hector lens. I personally know no anyone who used it. But according to the reports I read, it was not one of Leitzes master pieces. If some of you used this lens, please let me know what you think about it.. 2. The close-up gadgets are called: "PRISMETER" and are made in England by Butterfield photographic mfg. co. The trademark is BPM.. Has anybody any knowledge about this product. In a few weeks, I will make some close-ups. I use my Elmar 3.5 screw mount and compare these close-up lenses to the same shots done with my NOOKY (Leica close up attachment) Should anybody be interested in the result, then I'll let you's know..
