I know that many of you are also members of the Rollei list as well.
I checked the Rollei archives for the answer to the following question, =
but things got even more confusing, so here it goes.
I just purchased a Rolleiflex 3.5F Planar, in Ex++ to Mint-condition for =
$400 - a bargain, SN 2240XXX.
I was told by the seller that it was a Model 3, but according to =
different lists it is a Model 2. To make things even more confusing, =
the viewing lens is a Heidosmat SN 2991XXX, and the taking lens is a =
Planar SN 2986XXX.
This means the lens is a 6 element Planar, instead of being a 5 like in =
the Model 2.
Questions: What was the year of manufacture? Is it a model 2 or 3? =
Does it have a 5 or 6 element Planar? Could it be a factory =
modification?

Robert
