I needed the = wider coverage the lens gave while in England, and liked being able to do without the = separate finder. The 28 was wonderful, as expected, but the 24 is just outstanding! For = my work, the 21 would probably spend most of its time in the camera bag, which is very = expensive. However, I should add that now that I carry a 24/50/90 set up, I'm finding more and more = use for the 35mm length, so I guess I'll have to rob the little piggy in a few months (quite a = few actually!) and get either the latest 35/f:2 or the previous version. One of my friends has the = previous version, and frankly, I can't see anything wrong with it at all! For me the bottom line was that the 24 was just wide enough to get used = about 50% of the time, the 50mm about 35%, and the 90mm about 15%. Given a 35mm, the balance = would split=20 more in favor of 24/35/50 then 90. In fact, I'd probably start leaving = the 90 at home, unless I=20 thought I was doing specific work requiring that length, and just take = the 24/35/50 with me. If you really need a 21mm, get it, but I think from my looking at my own = work, and the types of shots I take, for me the 24mm was perfect. Don't you just hate to have to make up your mind. Either way, it'll be fun to get the new lens! take care- Norm - ------=_NextPart_000_00AB_01BE8DB7.CFE0CB60 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD W3 HTML//EN"> <HTML> <HEAD> <META content=3Dtext/html;charset=3Diso-8859-1 = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META content=3D'"MSHTML 4.72.3110.7"' name=3DGENERATOR> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT color=3D#0000ff size=3D2>Just to add my two cents = worth,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=3D#0000ff size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=3D#0000ff size=3D2>I recently traded my 28mm for a 24mm = ASPH, and=20 love it.
