My camera was one of them. The scratches were on the back of the film and seemed to be caused by the pressure plate. I just got my M6 back today from Leica USA and on first inspection it appears that the pressure plate has been replaced. I did not receive any written confirmation of this though. I may get some official paperwork to document the repair. If I do I'll share it with you. The important part is that upon winding a roll of film through the camera there are NO scratches! I'll have total confidence in the repair as soon as I can run a few more rolls. I'm quite pleased with the service I've received from Leica through my local dealer. My camera was gone exactly 1 week and it came back fixed. That's about all anyone can ask for. :) Henry Ambrose
