[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]Not to wade in on this WIN/MAC thread, but I'll dip my toe: As a former Mac user - When Windows is working, I don't miss the Mac - When I have a crash, I yearn for the ease with which I could do my own fixes easily with the Mac OS, because I could see exactly what was corrupted or otherwise screwed up and replace it...with the WIN machine, God help any of us who aren't Dos mechanics.. As to portables...Again, I used a WIN machine, but I've looked at the newer G3 powerbooks and I have to say - I'd do anything short of selling a Leica to get one! :-)...
