For you users of filters, and you all know who you are, here's a tip from PDN:

HP Marketing, Inc., US distributors of Heliopan filters, has announced that 
most filters in this line will now be in a slim mount that is 37% thinner 
to avoid possible vignetting with wider angle lenses. The new mounts will 
have a front thread which allows for the stacking of a second filter and/or 
the use of a screw-on type lens hood. A circular polarizer is included in
