While you seem to have quite positive feelings about this, it seems to me that people are in some ways freer than they have ever been. Take the internet, for example. There has never in history been such a medium which would allow an individual to reach out to so many millions of people across the world. That is a very powerful freedom in itself. Your minor quibbles about the government in your previous post in this thread would be more than enough to land you in a jail cell (or worse) in many other places in the world. Take a look at what is going on in places like China and Afghanistan, and the United States seems like a very groovy place indeed, shortcomings and all. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
