At least almost all, myself included, are in agreement that the G2 could never be a substitute for an M6. From my experiences with both cameras, they are different cameras with differing strengths and weaknesses and requiring their individual styles of usage. I still like to use both and I still have more M cameras and only one lonely G2. However, given the choice of only ONE camera, I would go for the G2 as I begin to see the attributes of all the bells and whistles built into this fine camera at such an affordable price. All said, holding the Leica-M still gets my heart pounder faster than when I am holding the G2. Don't know why this happens - must be the leica mystique! Dan K.
