Subject: [Leica] M6 and alkaline batteries

My old Minolta X-700 allowed the use of silver oxide, lithium, or alkaline
batteries.  The M6 manual describes the same lithiums and silver-oxides,
but there is no mention of using alkalines.  Has enyone ever ahd any
experience using alkaline batteries in the M6?
