McAfee offers a ViruScan that actually checks e-mails received.  I have used
it for a few months and one day I really it paid off when a virus came in
via e-mail.  It will do a System Scan, E-Mail Scan, Internet Scan (potential
harmful Java scripts), and even a download scan.
