Subject: [Leica] "Series" filters.

Hi all,

What's the reasoning behind the "Series" filters... you know,
the kind that are unthreaded and are held in with a retaining ring?
Leica bought into that scheme with the 135mm Elmarit-M.

M2 and and M4. Does that equal an M6?
