There is an adapter that will allow R lenses to be used on M cameras, it
does allow infinity focus.  It is called a 222228 adapter, made by
Leica.  They were made to mount R lenses on Leica movie cameras, they
are kind of rare, the last one I saw was on ebay it went for $600 I
think.
