I had time to try printing some of my Noctilux pictures this morning and
found out a few things. These were on Pan F+ processed in FG7 1:15 with
water.
1. There is a BIG difference in contrast between f1 and F1.4; a whole paper
grade. This seemed true for all the prints I made.
2. Shadow detail seems very good, much better than I expected.
3. The Noctilux reduces my "hit" rate by a large factor.
I can see that this lens will require some practice to get the best from
it. My wife and my dog are both willing models so I guess I have some
shooting to do.
