All the best Jimmy I like to stop 2,3 or even 4 stops like yourself but their seems to be a prevailing ideal that this is not good because of flair or whatever and that you stop down 1 or 2 or none. I would have to get some laser enlarger calibration deal before I even thought about this as I like corner to corner consistent grain and sharpness. The thing to do I would think is to make matching prints at different f stops and see what differences might be visible. Mark Rabiner
