Yikes!! Gary, Know exactly how you feel. I had the same thing happen to me about 8 years ago. Was getting out of a car to shoot some people playing tennis in the snow in Atlanta and the Canon F1 fell off my Tamron 300 2.8 and crashed the right top of the camera. For 2 years the only way to advance the film was using the motor. Camera was finally fixed free of charge by Canon at Super Bowl 28. I did get a shot that day good enough for page one of USA Today, made with a Leica R6 and 70 200 f4. Really makes you hate those #$%^$^%$ Tamron adaptall mounts doesn't it?
