I don't think so. Any light ray which makes it through the lens to the
shutter with the aperature closed down will also make it through to the
shutter with the aperature wide open, plus you will have aditional rays
hitting the shutter with the aperature wide open.

I suspect the hole got burned not while taking a photo with the sun in it,
but while the camera was not in use, and probably stationary, e.g. on a
table etc.
