...while I have no personal experience with it, it's on my short list of 
scanners to check out when a few bucks free up.  FWIW, one of the glossy photo 
mags did a comparison test of a few scanners, and the three whose sample scans
looked the best to my eye were this one, the Nikon 2000, and the Polaroid 
35Plus (in no particular order).  And the other two are 35-only.
