Leica won't be able to make it on the $499 they could get from the 100 pros and serious amateurs in this country who do 'some' darkroom work while using Leicas....most of them work with someone else's darkroom gear (academics, newspaper, etc). Or better yet, find a way to get schools/institutions/gov offices to adopt Leica as they have Apple Computers :) :) :) I'd bet that MORE THAN HALF of Apple's business comes from (through) people who don't have to pay for it out of their OWN pockets...
