Look, it's all about composition.  Until someone develops an auto-comp feature
on a camera, the "process" comparison between any camera is the same.  The
great photographers of yesteryear had little choice of hardware.  We're all so
spoiled...enjoyably so! : )

 Yep! Can't be any simpler than that.  If one wants all the auto everything
 stuff, then one shouldn't buy Leica and if they do buy Leica, they need not
 make continuing comparisons to Nikon and Canon.  Like it should be, "who
 cares!"
 
 It's apples and oranges!  I like both. I've used all three types of slr's,
 but my preference is the R8 or R7's, 2 of which I'll use until the R8 motor
 arrives with the new millenium or later, 2001? 2010? :)  When the motor is
 available I'll dump the other R7's and replace with R8's. Giving me three
 R8's and motors to work with.
