Mr is a little bit less accurate then the Mr4 and the MR4 is better made. BUT:::: Not every MR is a MR. The first MR4 have still on the nameplate the sign of MR. The difference is easy to see. The switch of the MR was on the left side of the body. looking like a litte nailtop. The pin if this switch goes in a rectangular angle into the body of the MR. The switch of the MR4, even when its written MR on it, is in the left side, ībut on top of the light meter and is big enough to use it confortable with the finger. You push it to the right and the measurement starts, you release it and the needle is fixed on the measurement position. The switch is the visual difference between the MR and MR4. Cheers, Deniz
