Hi Bob,

I bought a grip when I bought my first "M," and find it indispensible, 
especially with the larger lenses, like the Noctilux and 90/2.  It helps 
to keep the camera steady if you like to shoot with a tripod.  Tom 
Abrahamson's "soft release" helps too.
