PJs from the fifties used either Tewe or Nikon finders on the LTM cameras......see Andreas Feininger's photo "the Photojournalist" -- it's a IIIc or f with either a Tewe or Nikon finder! I don't remember which..... One of the reasons I enjoy the older RFDR cameras is to re-live (since I wasn't there the first time) the experiences of the "greats" of PJ......the Tewe finder FITS this profile, as does "mixing" lenses of varying ethnicity!!! I had the good fortune to study/drink with a retired "Lifer" -- the late Peter Anderson ( he spent many years in central and south America with Time/Life.....) He used to laugh at how us "Leicapaths" coddled our gear and discussed it's "merits"!! The old Scotsman used Nikkormats, Fs, SPs (2 beat up ones), various LTM cameras, etc....no filters, no caps, etc....... He carried his gear in a "fishing" bag of somekind, and "stored" it, piled haphazardly, in a paste-board box!! (these boxes were also his luggage and furniture as he traveled) And yes, I remember Tewe or similar finders mixed in with the rubble.....
