How about an alternative? You said: <Q>Merriam-Webster's WWWebster Dictionary:....</Q>. That way whether "</Q>" means "unquote" or "end quote" remains happily ambiguous. Of course """ can be either "begin quote" or "end quote"--even better! ;) - -Mike
