Nathan and Alan,

I use the 21mm and finder. And though the finder is plastic and not very
attractive in construction, it does give an extremely clear and
uncluttered view with good framing precision. I even find that using the
separate viewfinder is a bonus for shooting real wide angle with the M.

The angle of view of the 24mm is quite a bit larger than 28mm. I
therefore do not think NOT using the viewfinder is a good idea: the user
will always feel insecure as to what is actually in the picture and
rightly so. Many people even use a separate finder for the 28mm, since
the limits are so hard to see in the M6 viewfinder when you wear
glasses, as I also do.
