[Leica] Ansel Adams, Yosemite NP, and Moonscapes

A month or two ago the National Post [Canada] .........Conrad Black's right
of centre daily broadsheet .... carried a lengthy article about a
professor's ongoing research into the exact date, time, and place at which
Ansel Adams had taken his famous black and white photo of the full moon
over the huge vertical rock cliff in Yosemite National Park. From what I
read in the article, Adams had not been forthcoming with the date and time
of the photo and so far the details are a matter of conjecture.

Is anyone able to add anything further about the date and time of the photo?
