Subject: [Leica] 35mm f1.4 ASPH. - 2 versions?

I saw in the January edition of Shutterbug that there are two versions of
this lens.  The first version, even if it is used, is much more expensive
than a brand new one lens.  Could someone please tell me what is the
difference between both versions and why is there such a difference in
terms of the cost.  Thank you!
