Subject: [Leica] Help thinking about a 90 M lens.

So, I fell of the wagon, and got what is probably the last new M6HM
out there (at least it was the only one I could find). It should be
showing up tomorrow.

Now I need a lens. I've thought about just holding my nikon lenses in
front of the body, but that seems pretty clumsy.

At the moment, I'm a bit financially constrained, so I'm looking at:

 1) 35mm/2.0. I think that i want the release just before the current
ASPH. It sounds reasonably good and seems to be available for
around 800. How hard is it to find replacement hoods for this
lens if I buy one that's "w/out hood" (note: I'm not planning
ahead for when I join the "dropped my M6 on the floor club).

 2) a 90. Reading Erwin's web page leaves me thinking that the best
all around 90 is a 90/2.8 Elmarit-M. They seem to be available
for around 900. Is there anything generational to watch out for
    with this lens?

It'd be nice to have a 90/2.0, but I can't figure out just how
well received this lens is (I'm not considereing the newest APO
version). I'd like the speed and the extra DOF control, but...
Someday I'd like to own the 75/1.4, so maybe I should ease off on
    the 90?

Thoughts and comments would be wonderful. Reference to Erwin's
reference, http://www.imx.nl/photosite/leica/m/lenses/listm.html would
be great!
