The Minox is the only real pocket camera of the two. The Rollei is a beautiful piece of machinery but 350 gr. (half an M3) and rather bulky. The Minox is much lighter and less bulkier and therefor really "pocketable". Unfortunately the Minox is unreliable and the German electronics are shit, I had 3 of them in the last 15 years. Now obviously this is off topic. So I will make the link to the LUG. Some people have made all kinds of clever suggestions to impose some limits on subjects because they are considered off topic.Yes, the list of email is really getting very long. In the last year the daily number of messages has more than doubled. If I miss one or two days (away for business) the whole thing gets almost indigestible. Why do I keep on plodding through 350 messages on a Monday evening? By now, I know everything about red dots, filters, use of flashes and last but not least whiskey. But very often the off-topic category produces ideas, suggestions and views that are really interesting and for some funny reason I give them some weight because they come out the minds of the same crazy people like me, people that spend all their savings on old, expensive stuff that very few professionals still (sorry, there we go again) use. So we are just a great "crazy/elitist" crowd that thinks different, lets keep it that way!
