My 40 year old Anscochromes of Emperor penguins are faded and green where they should be black and white(with a little bit of yellowish orange) with magnificently white ice bergs with blue skies and bluish gray water. I bet even my great grandchildren will be enjoying their great grandfather's adventures 80 years from now because he was lucky enough, in spite of his ignorance of all things photographic, to have taken mostly Kodachrome film with him to the ice. And by the way. These slides have not be carefully protected. For most of their lives they have been stored in my attic in cardboard boxes. The attic is very hot(100 degrees) for a couple months in late summer and generally moist and cool the other 10 months of the year. Dale - --- $ dale-reed@worldnet.att.net Seattle, Washington U.S.A. $
